Prize: Interactive Roleplay
General Info
What is Singapore Sabercon 2026?
Singapore SaberCon 2026 is Southeast Asia's inaugural immersive Saber & Bounty Hunter LARP Convention. It brings together saber enthusiasts, cosplayers, collectors, and fans for a full day of workshops, dueling tournaments, marketplace exploration, and interactive role-playing. Think less convention floor, more Outer Rim outpost.
Is admission really free?
Yes — entry to the main event is completely free for all visitors. This includes access to the open marketplace, the live dueling tournament stage, and live demonstrations throughout the day. Paid tickets are only required for specific limited-capacity workshops and interactive mission experiences.
Who organises Singapore Sabercon 2026?
SaberCon is organised by SMX Industries Collective in partnership with Valis Academy. This event is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Disney©, Lucasfilm Ltd., or any LFL Ltd. intellectual property.
Is this event suitable for children and families?
Absolutely. The open event floor is family-friendly and welcoming to all ages. Some workshop experiences may have age requirements — specific details are listed on each workshop's booking page. We encourage younglings to attend with a guardian.
Tickets & Passes
What paid experiences are available?
Three ticketed experiences are available:
- Sector 65: Interactive Experience — $18 SGD. An immersive LARP mission set in the Outer Rim universe.
- The Apprentice Pass: Academy Saber Initiation — $10 SGD. A structured introduction to saber choreography basics.
- The Forge: Saber Workshop — from $188 SGD. Build your own custom saber hilt from components.
How do I receive my ticket after booking?
Your digital pass will be sent to your registered email address. Tickets are formatted as "SMX-XXXX". Please check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it within 30 minutes of purchase. Present your digital ticket (phone or printout) at the workshop check-in point on the day.
Can I refund or transfer my workshop pass?
Workshop slots are limited and non-refundable once booked. Transfers to another individual may be possible up to 7 days before the event — contact us at contact@singaporesabercon.com to request a name change. The Forge workshop materials are prepared per booking, so last-minute changes cannot be accommodated.
Are there group discounts?
Group bookings of 6 or more for The Forge workshop may be eligible for a group rate. Reach out to us at contact@singaporesabercon.com to discuss options before booking online.
On The Day
When should I arrive for my workshop?
Workshop sessions are strictly timed. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled wave to complete check-in and ensure maximum assembly time. Late arrivals may not be accommodated and no refunds will be issued for missed sessions.
Can I bring my own lightsaber to the event?
Yes! Personal sabers are welcome on the event floor. However, all sabers must meet basic safety standards — no sharp edges or exposed wiring. Blades must remain sheathed or unactivated unless in designated dueling or demonstration zones. The organisers reserve the right to ask attendees to stow any prop deemed unsafe.
Is cosplay encouraged?
Absolutely — cosplay is a core part of the SaberCon experience and strongly encouraged. Come as your favourite Jedi, Sith, bounty hunter, or original character. There is no formal competition this year, but designated photo zones will be available throughout the venue. Please ensure costumes are respectful and safe for a public indoor venue.
Will there be food and beverages at the venue?
*SCAPE is located at Orchard — there are numerous F&B options within and immediately surrounding the building. The event venue itself (Loft, Level 4) is a convention space without an in-built canteen, so we recommend grabbing food before or between sessions. Water bottles are permitted within the event venue.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes. *SCAPE has lift access to Level 4. If you require specific accessibility arrangements or assistance, please contact us in advance at contact@singaporesabercon.com so we can make the necessary preparations where possible.
Vendors& & Community
Where do I sign up as a Vendor?
Vendor interest forms can be submitted via the Be a Vendor page on our website. We welcome cosplay prop makers, collectible sellers, and related artisans. Vendor spots are limited — early expressions of interest are strongly encouraged.
How can I stay updated on announcements?
Follow us on Instagram at @smxindustriescollective and subscribe to our email list on the homepage. All major updates — including guest announcements, schedule releases, and ticket drops — will be broadcast through these channels first.
