By Bus
Several bus services stop along Orchard Road and Killiney Road near *Scape. Useful services include:
Bus 14, 65, 123, 143, 167, 171 → Orchard Road stops

Alight at the Somerset/Orchard Road corridor and walk toward Orchard Link. Look for the *Scape building — it has a distinctive creative arts facade near the junction.

Grab, GOJEK, and standard taxis are convenient for groups or if you're travelling with props or costumes. Drop-off point:

Note that Orchard Road has some restrictions on certain days. If drop-off is unavailable directly, Killiney Road or Orchard Boulevard are nearby alternatives. Expect higher fares on weekends.

Parking in the Orchard area on weekends can be limited. The nearest carparks include:

We strongly recommend public transport — MRT is fastest and avoids parking stress. ERP charges may apply on Orchard Road.

  • [01] Arriving for a workshop? Build in extra time — check-in closes 10 minutes before your wave. Missing your slot means losing your space, so err on the side of arriving early.
  • [02] Wearing full cosplay? Public transport is perfectly fine and encouraged. Singapore's MRT is fully air-conditioned — a blessing for Mandalorian armour wearers in July.
  • [03] Coming from Changi Airport? Take the East-West Line toward Jurong East, alight at City Hall, and transfer to the North-South Line toward Jurong East — one stop to Somerset. Total journey: ~45–55 minutes.
  • [04] Bringing sabers on the MRT? Keep blades in a bag or case. Prop weapons are generally permitted in transit if stowed safely and not causing alarm to other passengers.
  • [05] Travelling from JB? Woodlands Checkpoint → take the MRT from Woodlands or Marsiling → change at City Hall → Somerset. Budget ~1.5–2 hours depending on border wait time.
